Beehive offers a superior English programme inspired by the British curricula for children of all nationalities from 3 to 5 years old, where prior knowledge of the English language is not necessary to succeed.

In the preschool programme, our enthusiastic teaching staff works carefully with children from 3 to 5 years old to enable them to thrive not only educationally but also socially and emotionally. These teachers work hard to ensure each child reaches their full potential. We also provide a Czech language programme for both native and non-native speakers.

The educational program offered in the Reception class focuses on key areas of EYFS and prepares children for Key Stage 1:

Communication, language, reading and writing – spelling, introduction to reading, writing and communication in various contexts.
The development of mathematical skills – we focus on various areas of math skills including sorting, ordering, identifying numbers, and comparing and contrasting skills.
Knowledge and understanding of the world – science, history, geography, and information technology.
Physical education – music and movement, yoga, swimming, and outdoor activities.
Development of creativity – art and craft activities, musical instruments.
Personal, social and emotional development – activities that promote confidence building and other skills.

Who is our preschool aimed for?

Beehive Preschool is designed for children aged from 3 to 5 years.

The preschool programme prepares children for further studies at Beehive as well as for studies at international schools in the Czech Republic and abroad.
